resisting the browning of "aotearoa"
"don" is at it again. as usual he has under-estimated the level of intelligence that the average kiwi brings to the table. we know the constant maori bashing is just an attempt to get the public to look at something other than his incompetence as a leader of a political party. unfortunately, this behaviour is at the level of a primary aged child who tries hard to get the teacher to look elsewhere when he/she is caught red handed. then of course "helen" will attack him some more so that the party faithful will rally around their beloved leader. that way [she thinks] national will saddle itself with his incompetence for another misjudged election. da "bros" reckon don and helen are just a couple of "dicks" who dunno "shit" bout da iwi. "an dat 'don' fullah is a few stones short of a hangi."
national leader don brash has been accused of using the same argument against maori that was used in the united states in the 1700s when black people were denied civil rights.

nz politics
who'd want to be a politician? i guess they start off on the wrong foot anyway. most of them [in nz] seem to be lawyers. that's a pretty dubious profession to start with. i'm not really sure why or how they manage to get our votes in the first place. they are such a bunch of liars.
the prevailing attitude in nz politics, seems to be that you must not have a christian philosophy in your life or your politics. i reckon that opens the political system up for some scurrilous behaviour right from the start. on the other side we have the "exclusive brethren." busily passing judgement, making background noises and generally slipping the knife in from the shadows. wierd for a christian group. the fact that the leader of the opposition is in bed with them [but is at pains to point out that he can never remember what they discuss] does give me cause for concern.
one side [labour/helen clarke] is being financially corrupt. the other [national/don brash] is being morally corrupt. it gives me pause to consider they old saying "power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely." we are being lead without vision, without morality, and without courage by a group of power hungry, machiavelian miscreants with the behaviour patterns of a spoilt two year old. it's a bit of a worry.
