gunshots in nae nae
interesting this morning how a family has been evicted from their state house in auckland for terrorising their neighbourhood. i know (from personal experience) that there are a whole street and surrounding streets in nae nae lower hutt who wouldn't mind the same thing happening to a family in their midst. their boy was shot at two days ago. his family have been terrorising their neighbourhood. youth gangs are rife in nae nae there have been several stabbings and now two shootings. the l.a. gang culture is taking over the streets in nae nae. about time housing nz stopped congregating these people in concentrated areas. about time the people at number 6 dempsey st were moved on. we have had enough of the gangs. my aged parents are becoming frightened to walk to the shops.

it's thursday today
it's a lovely day in the thriving [not really thriving] slum district of naenae. the sun is up and about though, and i do like it.
off to christchurch [the garden city] on monday morning to investigate a job. basically it's to see if we love each other.
i have been listening to the radio this morning. they were talking about the 'gang' problems here in naenae. it's uncanny just how far from reality they are. it was almost funny.
it was interesting to see northland maori are going to have a go at the british govt over the treaty. they did sign a doc that said [article 3 of said treaty] "
the same rights and privileges as british subjects." i wouldn't hold your breath if i were you. they're asking for pensions and passports. interesting that, that should arise not one week after i discussed it with my m8 the painter.
the talk back this morning was quite racist about it [the possible treaty claim]. not helpful.
the kiwis play oz in rugby league this weekend. i hope we win. it will be tough. they are the best at this game.

amoung the pleasures one has access to when living in naenae, there's
this!it is being whispered around the streets that the "
mongrel mob" and the "
black power" [another maori based gang, they are both a real problem for us] are having a struggle to control the drug trade in naenae.
