ruth laugesen [check her out].
genetic research has come up with an answer to a hot political question - just how european is the average maori?
oh ruth. you have not been listening to maoridom at all have you. i will join the chorus yet again and state, maori do not use blood percentages to measure maori-ness! we use geneology.
i suppose there are those in nz who will just keep trying to have us legislated out of existence so they can put an end to maoridom. they just want nz for their own use. keep trying ruth. we will not go away.
there might be some use for it all though.
maori commentator dr ranginui walker welcomed the development of a blood test, saying it was much needed to find out why maori were more at risk of particular diseases such as diabetes.
donsta, note this wee statement, you've been using this excuse for your racism for a while now:
research science and technology minister steve maharey said there were no government plans to use any blood test to determine eligibility for funding.
"the government doesn't do race-based funding, they fund on the basis of need," he said.
donsta, that's not what you've been telling us.
