chippies are potato crisps [deep fried]. not healthy so obviously a child favourite. rice is rice. bizarre as it seems, nellie likes chippies on rice.

Them chippies on rice sound even better than chippies on toast. Kind of pre-marathon fare. Must try em.

LOL it would indeed serve as some kind of carb hit. wouldn't hurt if you took it running.

Rice is rice? I don't think so. Remember I'm half Japanese and half Mexican so...

Mexican rice = 1 cup long grain rice, sauted with onions in a little oil until toasted then add 2/3 cup tomato sauce and 1 1/3 cup chicken broth and salt to taste, bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes covered. Turn off heat after 15 minutes and allow to finish cooking in residual heat an additional 15 minutes. Never remove the lid and never stir the rice until complete cooked.

Japanese rice = short grain rice and water in a rice cooker push the start button and wait till the all done music sounds.

Americans eat Minute Rice that comes out of a box and cooks in one minutes in salted water.

What kind of rice does chippies go on?
