so very, very sad. what can you say about an individual who is this sick? i find myself tempted to wonder about one's right to live with the rest of humanity if one descends to these depths. i know that whoever did this must answer to the ultimate scrutiny eventually. but sometimes, the waiting is hard.

No girl is safe in this world. If I had a daughter I don't think I'd ever feel secure about her safety. Once at work about 16 women were eating lunch together and the question was asked if they were ever molested or touched by a relative or stranger that made them feel uncomfortable and out of the 16, 13 said "yes." Many were molested by fathers, uncles, grandfathers, cousins, family doctors, dentists, dress shop owners, family friends, bosses, and coworkers. One was even raped by her brother! How do you protect a girl child with those kinds of predators lurking at every corner?
